Here at Cloud Music Suite we’re excited to have many wonderful musicians on our instructional team to provide you with the best learning experience! To give you a better idea of who they are as individuals we’ve taken this opportunity to ask them a few questions about their musical careers.
Today we’re hearing from Angela Lachenmayr, who offers lessons on clarinet, saxophone and music theory! Check out her profile on our website for further information on lessons and her background. We hope you enjoy hearing from Angela today!
“I’ve been playing the clarinet for 24 years. I’ve been teaching band for 12 years and private lessons for 15 years.”
“I participated in wind symphony and marching band in high school and college. I’ve also performed with several community groups, including the Charlotte Concert Band and the Charlotte Civic Orchestra.”
“It's hard to pinpoint one specific moment, but I am forever thankful for the relationships I have made through music. I met some of my closest friends through various music ensembles, and I have been fortunate to work with amazing teachers and students.”
“Being a musician has taught me resilience. Learning clarinet came very easily to me at first, but I quickly learned that there is always a next level, harder music, or a more prestigious ensemble. I learned that it's ok to fail as long as you keep working towards your goal.”
“I find the most fulfillment when I bring out the emotion of a piece. There is something very rewarding about bringing notes and rhythms to life.”
“My favorite thing about teaching is watching students accomplish things they thought were impossible. I have former students who are now performing in Las Vegas and Nashville, and many who have become music educators.”
Cloud Music Suite is absolutely blessed to have a deep selection of amazing instructors such as Angela who bring a wide range of experiences and skills to the table to enrich the lives of their students! Sign up for lessons with Angela or shoot her a message from her profile page on our platform!
Happy Practicing!
