Adam Daniels is an English teacher at Marvin Ridge High and has 20+ years experience playing acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. After receiving his double major in English and Education from East Carolina University in 2011, he taught English at Tarboro High and Swansboro High until arriving in Monroe in 2022. Adam has been in a variety of bands ranging from indie acoustic, to hardcore, to contemporary metal (Caldera), while also being musically inspired by the theatre and musicals. He is excited to help any future guitar players to develop their love for the instrument and to progress them to the next level, regardless of their musical tastes. He believes that the main goal of lessons is not only to establish foundational skills, but to also create life long learners who will continue playing for the rest of their lives. Whenever Adam isn't playing guitar, you can find him reading his favorite mangas (Dragonball, Spy Family), watching his favorite animes (Demon Slayer, Yu Yu Hakusho), playing his PS5, or going on hikes with his dog, Pickle the Pitbull.
