About

A graduate of The UNC-Charlotte department of Music, Mr. Wrenn is in his fourth year of public teaching and has taught at the middle and high school level. Holding a bachelors of music education, Mr. Wrenn was highly involved throughout his collegiate career. In 2013 he was part of the inaugural UNC Charlotte drumline which led to the creation of The “Pride of Niner Nation” Marching Band. In 2015 he served as an inaugural drum major and would continue as inaugural head drum major until the spring of 2018. One of the greatest moments in his life was traveling with The PNNMB overseas to France to participate in the 74th Commemoration of “D-Day”. As part of the UNC-Charlotte wind ensemble, in 2017 he performed at the annual North Carolina Music Educators Conference in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Mr. Wrenn has served as a drum major instructor and adjudicator in the surrounding Charlotte area. Professional affiliations include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, North Carolina Music Educators Association, South Central District Bandmasters Association, and The National Association for Music Educators. In his spare time, Mr. Wrenn likes to explore the culinary arts, hike local trails and read.
