Mr. Joseph Girgenti received a Bachelor in Music Education degree from Wingate University in 2015 and a Master of Music degree from East Carolina University in 2018. Joseph has taught general music and band, grades PreK through 12, in Union County Public Schools for 8.5 years. Beginning January 2024, Joseph will serve as the Director of Athletic Bands for Wingate University and establish the first marching band. Joseph is also the current Chair-Elect for the Elementary Section of NCMEA. In addition, Joseph has taught clarinet, saxophone, and piano lessons in the Union County area since 2014.
